 About our Event

Denison ISD will hold its 10th Annual 5K for Kindness & 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Denison High School. Our goal is to engage as many families as possible in this event. This year’s run will benefit the Rachel Ramer Scholarship, the Denison Education Foundation & the Boys and Girls Club of Denison.

 Seeking Sponsors

We are seeking sponsors to help with the purchase of T-shirts, prizes, water, fruit and the electronic timing equipment that will be needed to host the event. Major sponsors' logos will be printed on the back of the event T-shirt. Register by Monday, April 28th at midnight to be guaranteed a T-Shirt.

Race Day Schedule of Events:
Registration: 7:30 a.m.
1M: 8:30 a.m.
5K: 9:00 a.m.

 T-Shirts

Anyone registering by Monday, April 28, 2025 by Midnight is guaranteed a T-Shirt. Anyone registering after this date, T-Shirts are on a first-come, first-serve basis and may not be available in all sizes or at all on race day.

 Early Packet Pickup

NOTE: NEW PACKET PICKUP LOCATION:
Packet Pick-Up will be on Friday, May 2nd, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Munson Stadium, 326 W. Crawford Street, Denison, Texas and on race day beginning at 7:15 a.m.

There are no pets allowed on the race course.

The Award Categories are as follows:

Medals will be given to the Overall M & F winners!

1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in the following age groups: 05-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60- 69, 70+
