“TREK Sturbridge Halloween 5K & 1K” Family-Friendly Race Event

The Rotary Club of Sturbridge is delighted to bring to our community this combination of timed races and other activities:
• a timed 5K Trail Race ($35) ........ Start Time 10:00 AM
• a Fun Walk on the same 5K trail ($30) ......... Start Time 10:00 AM
• a timed 1K Road Race for pre-teens (12 years & under) & folks with mobility challenges ($20) .........Start Time 9:15 AM
• a costume parade, relay races and organized games for young children in the LUNCH ROOM. (Free)......... Start Time 9:00 AM.

There will also be a BEST COSTUME competition just prior to the Awards Ceremony, for all registered Racers and Walkers.

So please join us the morning of Sunday, October 26th, 2025.
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES are ENCOURAGED !!!!

Pre-registration is via this website, with on-site registration on the day beginning at 8:30 AM. Registration is not required to attend the free children’s games.

The event will be held at the Old Sturbridge Village EDUCATION center on Old Sturbridge Village Road (not to be confused with the Old Sturbridge Village Academy) and will use the well-groomed Arbutus Park Trail in the Leadmine Mt. Conservation Lands for the 5K Race and also the 5K Walk.

The 1K Pre-Teen Race will also start and finish at the same location as the 5K Race, but is a Road Race.

The free Children’s Games will begin at 9 AM at the Education Center's LUNCH ROOM, with the 1K Race starting at 9:15 AM, and the 5K Race at 10:00 AM, both on Old Sturbridge Village Road.

The Awards Ceremony will be by the Registrations Booth at approx. 11:15 AM.

Parking is at the Education Center, on Old Sturbridge Village Road.

5K-Racers, 1K-Racers and 5K-Walkers who REGISTER BEFORE OCTOBER 21st, 2024, will get a free "TREK Sturbridge Halloween 5K & 1K" T-shirt.

This is a STURBRIDGE ROTARY CLUB fundraiser, with ALL PROFITS GOING TO LOCAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND OTHER COMMUNITY NEEDS PROJECTS !!!
