We are back for the 6th Annual Black Birch Vineyard 10 Mile Race! Set in the rural farm rich community of Hatfield, Massachusetts is a boutique winery serving authentic, hand-pressed signature wines. This race is brought to you by the creators of the Happy Valley Half Marathon & 5K and the Fort Hill Brewery Half Marathon.

This race supports the Children's Advocacy Center of Hampshire County. Please join our fundraising efforts by making a donation to support their organization.

A stunning early Spring landscape, long winding country roads, a few challenging (but fun) hills and a refreshing glass of wine waiting for you, in a picturesque setting. This ten mile race kicks off at Black Birch Vineyard and takes you on a tour of two quaint New England towns. The course is suitable for all ability levels. It’s positioned just weeks after the Saint Patrick’s Day 10K and weeks before the Fort Hill Brewery Half Marathon, as you look to plan your early Spring season. There will be a 3-hour time limit to complete the course.

Aid
We will have aid stations every 2-3 miles with water and electrolyte beverages. Porta potties will be at the start/finish area.

All finishers will receive a beautifully designed, elegant Black Birch medal, a long sleeve tech tee and a free pour courtesy of the Vineyard, to commemorate your experience. There will be food trucks on site and live music after the race!

Top male and female 10 miler finishers will receive a $150 cash prize.

Second place finishers will receive a $100 cash prize.

Third place finishers will receive a $50 cash prize.

The first place finishers in each age group will receive a custom Black Birch wine glass.

Race day registration and bib pick-up will be from 7:30-8:30AM at the Black Birch Vineyard on race day on 3/30.

We will not have packet pickup the day before the race.

Parking will be available along Straits road, next to the Black Birch Vineyard. Additional parking instructions will be sent out via email, prior to race day. Carpooling and drop-offs are highly recommended
