Event Details |

The Annual Quad Cities Running Festival is a Half Marathon | 5K | Kids Half Mile point-to-point running and walking event on Memorial Day, which this year falls on Monday, May 26th.
'Point to Point' races are an exciting and unique way to participate in a running event. Starting your race in one area and finishing in a different one provides the opportunity to see and experience more along your running journey. We recommend that you team up with a driving buddy to help you arrive at the designated starting lines. Additionally, the Quad Cities Running Festival will provide shuttle service to both the 5K and Half Marathon starting points on race morning for an extra fee of $10 per person (racing bib required). The shuttle pickup location will be located in the East Moline Glass Parking lot, in The Rust Belt Complex, where the parking for race takes place. We highly recommend that you sign up for the shuttle service in advance as space is limited and we will cap the shuttles at 215 runners for each race. Please note that dogs and strollers are not allowed on the shuttle and there will be no race day shuttle passes available.

Supporting Alan's House |
A portion of the proceeds from the Quad Cities Running Festival will benefit Alan’s House. For over 100 years, YWCA Quad Cities has been empowering families and women in our community through programs like childcare, employment training, and more. They truly provide support in every way.
One of the critical needs in our community is a youth shelter. To address this, the YWCA Quad Cities is repurposing its old building to create a space that better serves the community’s needs.
Foster and host homes have become increasingly scarce, making it difficult to find placements for teenagers in emergency situations. When a young person can’t return home, there are very few safe places for them to stay. In the absence of family or friends, they often end up spending several nights in a social service office, which isn’t equipped for overnight stays.
"Alan’s House" will be the only youth homeless shelter in the area. The nearest shelters are in Rockford, Illinois (over 90 miles away) and the closest one in Iowa is more than 165 miles away.
