We run for the "red, white, and blue"
Dress up with your best patriotic outfit and win gift cards and prizes!
Join Eastland Cross Country Team as they host the Shannon Labor Day 5K.
Race Starts at 8am on the 300 Block of S. Hickory Shannon, IL.
On-Site Registration and T-Shirt Pick up will start at 7am at the Shannon Village Park pavilion.
$30.00 Day of Race
- Register early to guarantee T-Shirt.
- Run/Walk regardless of weather. If canceled due to extreme weather, thank you for your donation.
- Stay and enjoy Shannon Homecoming festivities after race (food, bingo, carnival games and rides, craft show, music and more in downtown Shannon)
- Pancake Breakfast served till noon at Shannon Fire House following race and awards
If 3.1 miles is too long, you are welcome to walk a distance comfortable for you and help us raise funds for the Eastland XC Team.

Awards |
Awards to follow race at approx. 9:30AM
Overall plaques for top male and female finisher. 3 medals in each age bracket for both men and women. Brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and over 70.

Proceeds |
Proceeds will be used for the Run for Life Scholarship: given to graduating seniors to further their education and share their love of running.
