 Event Details

Please join us for our 41st annual Creighton University School of Medicine Make-A-Wish 5k/10k Run/Walk for Wishes! The race will be held at 8 AM at Chalco Hills Recreation Area at Wehrspann Lake on September 15, 2024. A custom running shirt, runners’ bag, and refreshments are included in your registration fee. All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Nebraska.

Since its foundation in 1980, Make-A-Wish has granted hundreds of thousands of life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses. These wishes give kids the courage to comply with their medical treatments and help their families and friends stay optimistic. Our goal is to bring together the Omaha community to raise awareness and funding for these children and their wishes.

It is our goal to make this a record-breaking fundraising year! The average cost of 1 wish is $10,000. If you'd like to help us grant a wish this year, please consider donating to our fundraising page: site.wish.org/goto/creightonmedicinemakeawish

Registration discounts are now available, starting at 10% off for groups of 10 or more. Please email mak48822@creighton.edu to get your team set up.

 Event Schedule

Check in will begin at 7 AM outside the Chalco Hills Recreation Building and the run will start at 8 AM.
