About the Event (How we partnered with Sertoma in the past)

This special event benefits Shoes for Kids and Sertoma Club of Watauga. The Watauga Sertoma Club (SERvice TOMAnkind) is the only civic service club in the city and we have focused on working with the four public schools which are designated as Title I facilities with over 50% of the students from low-income families.

Their signature project is Shoes for Kids. Some activities, such as physical education and band, require students to have special shoes, which some families can't afford.
