About The Event |
Thousand Oaks' long-running community Thanksgiving Day run/walk returns Nov. 28, 2024.
Burn those calories before the big meal and support three community nonprofits at the same time. Expect fun, music, costume contests and lots of local booths and vendors. In addition to a 5K road race around the campus of Cal Lutheran University (top 3 finishers in each category will receive prizes), this year’s event features the inaugural Zack Zernik Mile, named in honor of a lifelong Turkey Day Dash participant who lost his life in early 2024 while hiking in local open space. Come walk for health, family and community!
LATE REGISTRATION: $60
Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 26 and 27
(must register at packet pickup, Road Runner Sports, Newbury Park)
Note: 3 and under free, no t-shirt/bag/bib. All kids receive a ribbon!

100% of proceeds will be spread equally among three community nonprofits: Southeast Ventura County YMCA, Conejo Valley Boy Scouts Ventura County, Council of Boy Scouts and the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation.
