There are an estimated 5.6 million children in Ethiopia missing one or both parents. Since 2016, Hope for the Fatherless has been working to provide and support family solutions for these children through its group homes, family sponsorships, and IGA program. With the close of inter-country adoption in 2018, HFTF has had the chance to participate in the growing movement towards domestic adoptions. Overall their vision is to see each of these precious children thriving in a family of their own and to see the culture in Ethiopia of embracing the beauty of adoption. This race will help raise funds to continue the work they are doing in Ethiopia to build a stronger culture of adoption and foster care as well as allow more safe group homes to be built and staffed.

The Run for the Fatherless 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run will be a race for the whole family! There will be food trucks, music, bounce houses & sponsor tables! All proceeds from race participants will support Hope for the Fatherless.

Registrations received by 11/03/2023, will receive an event T-Shirt. T-Shirts will be on a first come, first serve basis after this time and may not be available in all sizes or at all! Please register early and guarantee a T-shirt!
