To celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Steamboat Trace the Nemaha Natural Resources District is hosting a 5K Depot Dash with all proceeds going to the Nebraska Association of Resources District’s (NARD) Foundation. The NARD Foundation supports students’ desire to enter the natural resources field. Programs supported include Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute, Ag Day on the Hill, Agriculture Issues Academy and Awards at the Annual State FFA Convention, Nebraska Envirothon, Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture, Adventure Camp about the Environment, the Raising Nebraska exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair, and Nebraska LEAD (Leadership, Education, Action, and Development) Program.
