About the Event |
April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. Join us on April 26th for the second annual Break the Silence event! Break the Silence is designed to bring together those who wish to stand together in support of those who have been impacted by sexual assault, and advocate for those who haven't found their voice. We invite you to please join us for the following events:
* Denim Dash Walk: The event will begin at the LaGrange Courthouse and end at the LaGrange Courthouse
* Chalk the Walk: using sidewalk chalk, help us decorate the sidewalk to show your support of those impacted by sexual assault.
* What Were You Wearing? An art instillation that replicates the outfits and articles of clothing worn at the time of a sexual assault.
* Guest Speaker: TBD

All event proceeds go towards the purchase of gas cards to assist individuals in accessing the Sexual Assault Center.
