Introduction |
"Welcome to our 1st Annual Glow Fun Run and 5K in honor of Laura Beth Whitfill, Whitesboro's Firefly Forever.
Whitesboro ISD wishes to honor Laura Whitfill, an employee of WISD who was taken from us too soon. Laura was born on May 25, 1984, in Sherman, Texas, and she worked for Whitesboro ISD for three years. She was a graduate of Whitesboro High School Class of 2002. Laura enjoyed traveling and crafts and was a loving mother who cherished her family. All proceeds from this race will be used towards local scholarships in Laura’s memory.
When talked about by her loved ones and friends, Laura was described as a firefly and spreading light wherever she went. So we are going to LIGHT UP Whitesboro with our Glow Run to remember her.
Please join us in any way you can, we can't wait to see you at our event!"

The Laura Beth Whitfill Memorial Scholarship 5K, Virtual Run & Fun Run is designed for the whole family!!! The event will benefit the Laura Beth Whitfill Memorial Scholarship Fund whose focus is to provide scholarships to high school seniors at Whitesboro High School.
There will be concessions, music, sponsor tables, face painting, raffles and more at the event!.

Registration & Packet Pickup: 6:30 p.m.
Fun Run: 7:00 p.m.
5K: 7:30 p.m.
