Track your workouts and unlock reward badges by uploading your miles each month as you train for the IMT Des Moines Marathon events in 2023.

The Run Iowa Challenge presented by Capital City Fruit - Home Delivery begins May 1 and runs through September. Membership includes:

• Monthly newsletter with exclusive training content.

• Training plan with miles workout tracker from May through September.

• A confirmation email of monthly miles posting.

• Results page access with event-specific monthly and cumulative miles, including sorting features.

• Finisher certificate that refreshes with each month’s posting, revealing a Run Iowa Challenge badge. Collect all five!

Any miles you run or walk outside your typical daily steps or routine count towards your Run Iowa Challenge presented by Capital City Fruit - Home Delivery credit. For example, your current workout routine, setting up a route to incorporate a walk in the park, or workouts on the treadmill. It all counts.

Complete your marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, or 5K training in a continuous single run/walk, just as you would in person on race day, and record your miles with each workout.

Total them each month through an app, google calendar, or smartwatch, or use your Run Iowa Challenge monthly tracker included with your membership as a running journal.

Then return to this page at the beginning of each month to enter your total miles for the month that has ended.

The 'Submit Monthly Total' feature begins on June 1 for miles completed in May. And throughout the remainder of the Run Iowa Challenge for miles completed each month through September.

The Run Iowa Challenge features a leaderboard of participants with miles posted. Sortable by event, gender, and age divisions, each member can also view their runner profile. Month-by-month miles are listed, along with cumulative miles.

A finisher certificate displays each month's miles and reveals a reward badge and cumulative miles with a new badge each month.

Your race registration includes your Run Iowa Challenge presented by Capital City Fruit membership.
