The Edinboro Triathlon began in 1986, and we invite you to take part in the 35th Edition. This historic and community-loved event will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023.

The Races:
Individual Sprint Triathlon: 750 yard swim, 11.2 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
Individual Sprint Aquabike: 750 yard swim, 11.2 mile bike
2-3 Person Sprint Triathlon Relay: 750 yard swim, 11.2 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Registration by 5/1 guarantees shirt!
Registration will close at 11:59pm Eastern on Tuesday, May 30.
ET2023 Capacity: 300 athletes

Located in Erie County, PA, ET2023 primarily benefits the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department and other local non-profits whose continued support makes it possible to continue the tradition of The Edinboro Triathlon.

Athletes must be 16 years of age as of 12/31/2023 to participate in any ET2023 event.

Come take a dip in serene Edinboro Lake, ride through beautiful country roads, and run through surrounding Edinboro neighborhoods. USAT Sanctioned.

There will be no Race Day Registration.
Athletes must be 16 years of age as of 12/31/2023.
Your registration is not transferrable to another athlete.

There are no refunds or deferrals for any reason.

Transition Opens: 7:00 AM
First Heat of Athletes: 8:30 AM

*Note: Swim start format and waves may be subject to change prior to race day per the coordinators’ decision.

Awards will be given to:

Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female for the Individual Sprint Triathlon and Aquabike events.
*All registered athletes are eligible to place in the overall top 3 of their event.*

Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female in Individual Sprint Triathlon category will receive: 1st - $200, 2nd - $100, and 3rd - $50.

Top 3 Male and Female in the individual events by age group (age as of 12/31/2023):
15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59,60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84

Top 3 finishing Sprint Relay teams in the following divisions: All Male, All Female, Mixed

Previous ET Race Director Namesake Awards:
- The Hugo Goldthwaite "Future of Tri" Award: to the youngest individual triathlete
- The Pat Davis "Most Seasoned Athlete" Award: to the oldest individual event athlete (triathlon or aquabike)
- The Brianne McClellan "Middle of the Pack" Award: to the athlete finishing in the middle of the Sprint Triathlon
