PetSafe Program: The PetSafe program is a community service program offered by Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. PetSafe provides short-term housing for pets whose owners are temporarily unable to provide care due to natural disasters, domestic violence, or various health concerns.
Priority 4 Paws: Priority 4 Paws is a mobile surgery unit partnering with local and regional animal shelters to spay and neuter cats and dogs. By providing this service, shelter animals are able to find forever homes in a more timely manner. Priority 4 Paws has also established a larger, stationary space at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine to allow students to better hone their physical examination and surgical skills.
