Living History Farms is bringing back the off-road Living History Farms Race. The Living History Farms Race gives runners the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in rural Iowa landscapes and travel through 300 years of history on foot. Runners can expect to splash through streams, plow through fields, and enjoy post-race treats. This cross-country course is roughly 5 miles and starts and ends in the 1876 town of Walnut Hill. Living History Farms is excited to welcome runners back after a two-year absence. We are committed to providing the best possible experience for runners and to supporting the LHF mission: to educate and connect all peoples to the many stories of Midwestern rural heritage.
