Location: St. Thomas Church - 1400 Kiwanis Dr, Freeport, IL
Check-in: 7:00AM - 7:45AM
4 Mile Run / Walk Begins: 8:00AM
The race begins at St. Thomas Church and ends at the football field entrance of Aquin Junior-Senior High School. A shuttle bus service will be available after the race to return runners to their vehicles at St. Thomas.

About This Race |
We’re back!!! Join us for our 15th year!
Join us for a 4-mile, course-certified, Rockford Road Runners circuit race.
Every year, we honor the memory of Colby J. Smith with the Colby Smith Memorial 4-Mile Classic and Colby Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund.
2021 was slated to be the 14th and final race, but a new generation of Aquin families have decided to keep the tradition alive!
Trophies are awarded to the top overall male and female winners and medals are given to the top three male and female runners in all age groups. To register for the race, use the "Register Now" button below.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Colby Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships for students to attend Aquin Catholic Schools. To make a contribution to the scholarship fund, which has awarded over $122,000 to students since 2010, please use the "Donate" button below.
Colby's children, Colby, Sedona and Chloe, have all graduated from Aquin Catholic Schools, and the Smith family has become spread out across the country. With the continued assistance and guidance from the entire Smith family, the existing race traditions will continue, and new traditions will be made.
It has been a wonderful tribute to Colby's memory and the support from all of you has been incredible. In addition to continuing the run, the Smith’s will continue to have an annual appeal for the Colby Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund.
