The Story: The 47 mile Calamus Half Century Bicycle ride event grew out of a few local individuals that started riding in 1998 to train for a 100 mile ride. Today it averages 150-200 riders.

Camping: Camping is available in city park, or at the Calamus State Recreation Area. Showers will be available at the High School locker rooms or the City Park following the ride.

Registration includes:
- fully supported SAG's (Stop and Go) from 8 AM - Noon
- Lunch provided to riders following the event at the Pizza Palace, 204 Grand Avenue, Burwell, NE. Inside dining or carry out available.
- T-Shirt
- Mechanical support by Bike Shed, Kearney, Nebraska
