The Monsters at the Mall 5k partners with the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley and WTOV9 to provide funding for the Coats for Kids Program. The Monsters at the Mall 5k run/walk will be hosted on October 26th at the Ohio Valley Mall. The event will begin at 9 am, as runners dressed in their scariest and silliest costumes will start at the rear entrance of the mall with an exciting finish inside Boscov’s court! Electronic timing will be provided by Wolf Creek Race Management. The event features fun activities for all ages with post-race refreshments and award ceremony to follow. Please join us afterwards for the Fall Harvest and Halloween party, featuring a costume contest (ages 12 & under), friendship march and friendship dash, and other fun activities for kids!

Take 70 E or 70 W toward Saint Clairsville, OH. Take exit 218 onto Mall Road toward Banfield Road. Turn right at bottom of entrance ramp. Starting line and parking are located at the rear entrance near Michael's/Pat Catans.

$20 on or before October 1st, $25 after and on race day. Includes guaranteed t-shirt for the first 200 registered participants. Join us afterwards for post-race refreshments!

Race day registration begins outside the rear entrance of the mall at 7:30 am.

Packet pickup begins at 7:30am

Top 3 male and female overall runners and walkers will receive a trophy. Medallions awarded to the top 3 in each of the following age categories: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Race numbers may also be drawn for door prizes!
