As the original women’s running program in the Quad Cities, CBRC Women’s 101 strives to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for walkers and runners of all ability levels.
Our program is composed of three subgroups for betterment: walking, walk/running, and running. Within each group, we hope to help you identify goals, bond as a team, learn a variety of training topics, and complete a 5K!

What is included in my registration?
- An 8-week plan for runners, run/walkers, or walkers.[*]Knowledgeable leaders who are excited to help you reach your goals.[*]Online access to guest speakers on our Facebook page on health, cross training, nutrition, safety, equipment and more.[*]Discounted entry to Nancy Kapheim Memorial Classic 5K[*]Something new only for 2021!! Goody bag to all Women 101 participants[*]A practice 5k on Monday September 27, 6pm before Nancy Kapheim Memorial Classic 5K, open only to W101 participants[*]Post race breakfast buffet included with entry to Nancy Kapheim Memorial Classic 5K. If not participating in race, you can still have breakfast buffet but there will be a $5.00 charge
Goal race will be on Sunday October 3, 2021 for Nancy Kapheim Memorial Classic 5K race at a discount rate, at Sunset Marina, Rock Island, Ill.

No Strollers, Dogs or Children permitted.
With a Cornbelt Running Club membership, you will receive a newsletter to keep you informed of races and running news in and around the Quad Cities area. Membership also includes discounts to a few local businesses and some CBRC races.

Something new this year, Judy Teeple spirit award |
Judy Teeple one of our founding mothers passed away this year, she started this program to help women who wanted to get active but didn't know how to start. She knew they would be comfortable with other ladies like themselves, she made it affordable and fun. Judy was truly a visionary and will be missed.

Registrations from our 2020 program will be honored for 2021 at no additional cost.
