The Florissa Virtual Family 5K and Fun Run will raise funds that will support Florissa, the children’s division of Kreider Services, which helps those with developmental, behavioral, social or emotional needs. Last year, with the help of grants, fundraising and donations, Florissa was able to provide nearly $125,000 worth of services to children in need of financial assistance for therapy, diagnostic assessments, social skills group and summer camp.

A Virtual Run is about being healthy, having fun and accomplishing your personal goals. It's a challenge that you can run, walk, treadmill or
bike from any location you choose and receive a t-shirt. Virtual Runs gives you the freedom to run your own route on your own time all while being a part of something special.

Team Participation
Get in on the action! Get a team of co-workers or family and friends together to form a team. By participating you will leave your impression on the Florissa center! Post your “Runnie” (run selfie) and tag Florissa or Kreider Services for a chance to win some local prizes. Or if you’re feeling creative get a group together and create a theme for your run. Tie dye, 80’s fashion, super heroes...the possibilities are endless!

Fun Run!
The Fun Run is FREE for kids 9 years and under and begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 6/10ths of a mile course. Each child will receive a medal and the first 50 kids will receive a t-shirt.


Part of the 5K Run will be a Corporate Challenge. A minimum of 5 runners per Corporate team. The finishes of the top five runners from each team will be combined. The team with the lowest combined score will receive top honors and the “Challenge Trophy”.

Virtual Walker
If you are unable to participate in this year’s 5K/Fun Run, become a Virtual participant. Pay the registration fee and send in your registration. If you wish, your registration fee can help a runner or walker who is unable to afford the fee. Otherwise Virtual Participant fees will support the children’s services of Florissa.
