General Event Details

This year’s Downtown Dash 5k will be an all-inclusive training package and virtual event! Registrants will have access to a 5-week training program that includes a running plan, live guided workouts, and live recovery routines. The 5k can be completed anytime, anywhere between May 17th - May 31st.

Be sure to follow social distancing and other safety measures provided by the State of MN and your local government regarding COVID-19 as you participate.

Follow these 3 easy steps to run/walk your 5K!

* Step 1:
Walk or run ANYTIME, ANYWHERE between May 17th - May 31st and record your race time using: Strava, MapMyRun, MapPedometer.com or a simple stopwatch.

* Step 2:
Email your race completion time to results@downtowndash5k.org
* Include first and last name, run date and race completion time in the body of the email.
* Run/walk times must be submitted by 11:59 pm on May 31st.

* Step 3:
Submit a selfie on Downtown Dash 5k Facebook:
* Use the hashtag #SweatySelfie!
* Post on www.facebook.com/Downtowndash5k/
* Submit a selfie after your run/walk or a pic of the location you ran/walked!

* In providing a photo or selfie you allow AdvantageHealth to share your pic on the Downtown Dash website and other event social media. (The pic you provide will not be used for sales or marketing purposes without written permission.)

* All “finishers” who email their results by May 31st will receive a groovy Downtown Dash 5k t-shirt in the mail in June.

Proceeds

A portion of event proceeds will go to a local non-profit.
