Individuals aged 65 or older are at a higher risk of COVID-19. Individuals aged 65 and older should stay at home as much as possible. Large gatherings, even those held outside, pose a significant risk to this population.

Lace up your sneakers and sign up for a 5k benefiting the Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center. The race will start at the McInnish Dog Park and will route through the sports complex for a full 5k. A shorter one mile fun run/walk route will also be offered. There are four time slots to choose from when registering with a maximum capacity of 50 participants per time slot. Don’t have a dog? Your new best friend is waiting for you at the Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center.

If you want to support the Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center, but do not want to participate donations will be accepted. Donations of dog food, cat food, kitty litter, toys, cleaning supplies, etc. will be accepted at all three recreation facilities. For a complete list of items to donate please call 972-466-3420.

Warm up: 7:45am
1st Wave: 8:00am
2nd Wave: 8:35am
During each wave the 5k will start first and the 1-mile participants will follow.

Due to COVID-19 there will not be an award ceremony. Award winners will be notified via email/phone call on Monday, March 1, 2021. Medals can be picked up at Rosemeade Recreation Center.

Register by 2/24 for $35 and be guaranteed a race packet, t-shirt, and timing chip for 5k runners.
Prices increase to $45 on race day and race packet and t-shirt are not guaranteed.

Note: Any changes made to a registration after 2/24 will incur a $5 change fee.

Monetary donations will be accepted for the Carrollton Animal Services and Adoption Center.

Awards for the 5k will be given for Overall Male & Female.

Medals will be awarded to the top three Male & Female finishers in each age category: (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over).

For those who register by February 24, packet pick-up will take place at the Rosemeade Recreation Center located at 1330 E. Rosemeade Parkway in Carrollton on Friday, February 26 from 8:00am - 8:00pm.
