We have a hand full of spaces left and once they are full we will be closing registration. The virtual options will be left open and are a great way to help support the event and Fort Wayne Trails. The virtual events are casual and you are not required to submit a time unless you would like to. **Friends! We are excited to announce that after careful consideration, we have determined that we can move forward with the 2020 Pufferbelly Run/Walk/Stroll IN-PERSON. While following the Governors guidelines and CDC recommendations, we will still provide a fun and safe event for all of you. Of course, your safety is paramount and as we get closer to July 18th, if we feel we cannot provide you with a rewarding and safe experience we will make any necessary changes. Keep in mind that in addition to a fun morning on the trails, every registration goes directly to supporting trail growth and development right here in our city. We thank you all for using and supporting Fort Wayne Trails.

Join us for the 11th Annual Pufferbelly 10K, 5K Family Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids' Fun Run. A portion of our race will be run on the Salomon Farm Trail and the Pufferbelly Trail from the Parkview YMCA to Wallen Road.

The proceeds from this event will be used for trail development activities. One of the biggest projects in our community is the conversion of the former New York Railroad into a paved recreational path called the Pufferbelly Trail in Fort Wayne. When completed, it will link downtown Fort Wayne to Pokagon State Park in Angola and south to Ouabache State Park in Bluffton. At 81 miles, and called the Poka-Bache Connector, it will become the spine for a regional trails system that will provide endless health and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors to the Fort Wayne area.

The race will start and finish at the Parkview YMCA located on the south side of Dupont Road between Coldwater Road and Lima Road. Follow the signs for directions on where to park.

Pre-registered participants may pick up their packets at the Parkview YMCA on Friday night from 5PM to 7PM or on race day from 7AM to 8AM.

Runners may register at the Parkview YMCA on Friday night, July 17th, from 5PM to 7PM. Registration is also open on race day from 7AM to 8AM Adults $35.00 and Youth $20.00

• Timing chips will be used to ensure accurate times for all runners.
  
• Great door prizes and awards for the top female and male runners in each group and the overall make and female runners will be given out at the completion of the 5K.
  
• All participants in the Kids' Fun Run will receive a participation ribbon. The top female and male Fun Runner will receive an award.
  
• Enjoy music, refreshments, and kids games.
  
[*]Dogs, in-line skates, skateboards, and electronic devices are not allowed on the running course. Strollers are allowed for the 5K & 10K participants.

We encourage companies, charities and groups of friends to register as a team to receive some added perks; including a VIP packet pickup line at registration, an extra goodie in the gift bags if registered by July 12th (requires a minimum of 5 team members), and a group photo opportunity. The team with the highest number of participants will receive a plaque. Be sure that everyone on your team includes your team name when they register.
