Reagan Run 5K Announcement The Covid-19 global pandemic has impacted everyone in ways no living person has ever experienced. It is impossible at this time to estimate when the forced closures, social distancing or the group assembly restrictions currently being enforced will be relaxed. Without the advent of a vaccine or far more testing capacity than is currently available this summer's activities are certain to be adversely impacted. As a result of these limitations and the unknowns that await us the Reagan Run 5K Committee has been weighing the situation. It is after careful consideration that the committee has determined that we can't in good conscience proceed with a July 4th race this year which could jeopardize the safety of participants, normally from all over the country, and our great group of volunteers. The committee regrets to announce that the 2020 Reagan Run 5K has been cancelled. The committee hopes to start gearing up in January 2021, once again getting commitments from their generous sponsors and lining up the great group of volunteers to put on one of the finest and most unique road races in Northern Illinois on July 3, 2021. We hope to see you then.

(1 block west of IL Rt. 26/Galena Avenue)

Race Day Schedule:
6:30 - 7:30 AM: Race-day registration and check-in.
7:30 AM: Kids Fun Run start
8:00 AM: 5K start
Please - no strollers and no pets in the 5K. Thank you

Awards:
Awards presented after race. Overall winners do not receive age group awards.

* Unique award to first overall male and female
* First three places, each division, male and female: 10/under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
* Masters overall for Male and Female

Walkers:
Walkers are welcome and encouraged. For safety reasons, walkers will line up behind the runners.
Official times will be available for persons finishing in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

 Kids Fun Run

A FREE FUN & SAFE event for kids 9 and under. Kids will run 6/10ths of a mile. All finishers will receive a special kids goodie bag, a medal, and refreshments! The Fun Run will begin promptly at 7:30 AM at the corner of Hennepin Ave. and 8th Street and will end at Haymarket Square.

Race day registration and check-in will end at 7:15 AM. Sorry - no exceptions.

T-shirts are available while they last (sizes are first come, first served).

Must participate to receive shirt. Pre-registration encouraged.

 Corporate Challenge

* Mark Corporate Challenge and write in company name.
* Must be a current employee.
* Must have a minimum of 5 runners - no maximum.
* The place of the top 5 runners are added together for the team total. The team with the lowest score is the winner.
* Plaque for first place team and bragging rights for one year.
* Companies may enter more than one team.
* Running clubs are not included in Corporate Challenge.

No Corporate Race Day Registration. July 3rd deadline.
