Kick off your 4th of July holiday week VIRTUALLY in 2020 with the CarmelFest Freedom Run! New for 2020, we are proud to announce our partnership with Pack Away Hunger!

Participants can choose between a NEW 5 mile run or a 1.5 mile walk. As always, registrants will receive a high-quality shirt, and we will still be offering discounted family rates for groups of 3+!

Since this is a virtual event, it can be completed anytime during the July 4th week (June 29 - July 5). See the Submit Your 5-mile Results section below for instructions on submitting your time (5 mile only).

While we were incredibly excited to host the Freedom Run at Carmel High School, the City of Carmel requested that we cancel our in-person event. Although disappointed, we understand the decision, and have the utmost concern for our friends and families that join us every year.

We hope that you and your family will still support the Freedom Run, Pack Away Hunger and Tuxedo Brothers by participating virtually between June 29 - July 5!

Pre-registered participants will receive the following items.
- Soft-style Unisex T-shirt
- Listing on our Results Page. Click the Submit Your Results button at the top (5-mile only)

All participants will receive an awesome, softstyle T-shirt and goodie bag. Please note that shirts will be ordered in Unisex sizing. Choose accordingly when registering.

Important - Shirt quantities may be limited for the July 3rd Packet Pickup. We will re-order shirts on July 6 for those still needing one!

Shirts will be mailed out in 2 waves:
---Wave 1 - Those who pre-register by June 30
---Wave 2 - Those who pre-register from July 1 - July 5

The Freedom Run is proud to donate $5 to Pack Away Hunger for every participant that competes virtually in 2020!

The most vulnerable groups in our communities are suffering greatly with the spread of COVID-19. Pack Away Hunger is currently distributing meals to local food pantries, community centers and churches that are able to share meals with at-risk populations. These non-perishable, highly-nutritious meals are typically created at sponsored meal packing events. With those events postponed, their meal supply is running low.

Now more than ever, they need your continued support. Your donation will create more meals for these local families in need.
