Teams:
You can have as many people on your team as you want. There are many types of teams among the participants of Lace Up for Literacy. Some are friends and family who are celebrating a loved one with a learning disability. Others are schools or groups of employees who enjoy being together and supporting literacy. Whatever your group, you'll have a fun time supporting kids who learn differently.

Team Leaders:
To set up a homepage and begin collecting donations, select "click here to start a team" above. Setting up a team page does NOT register you for the event. After you create your team page, you may register and pay any fees and donations.

Fundraising:
Lace Up for Literacy is the main fundraiser for Learning Matters. We encourage all participants to create a giving page and seek pledges to sustain our work of providing necessary academic support for students from all income levels.

Lace Up for Literacy is a team-relay event. At least one person from your team will be walking at all times. The indoor track is 300 meters long, handicap accessible and stroller friendly. No skates are allowed. There will be infield activities, entertainment and vendors for your team members to enjoy.

100% of net proceeds will benefit Learning Matters programs that provide academic support for students with financial need.
