Anyone without a race number visibly displayed at any time before and during the race will be asked/required to leave the race.

Race packets and t-shirts will be available on Friday, July 19 at the Y, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for those who register prior to 6 PM on July 17. If you register online after that, your packet will not be ready until Race Morning.

Race day packet pick up will be at the start line from 6:30-7:30 AM.

If you register online after 5:59 PM central time on July 17, your race packet will only be available on Race Morning.

ABSOLUTELY NO LATE OR RACE DAY ENTRIES.

Runners who have finished at least ten races (either or both distances) since the beginning of the Downtown Runaround will be eligible for special prizes.

All entrants will receive a "Downtown Runaround Columbus" T-shirt (100% cotton). T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register after 6 PM on July 17.

Join us after the race for our award ceremony at Glurs Tavern (pizza and beverages for race participants ONLY).

Columbus Bucks of $100, $75, and $50 will be given to the first, second, and third place male and female winners of the 5 mile event.

The top male and female 5 mile masters finisher (40 and over) will each receive $50 in Columbus Bucks.

Top three overall winners are not eligible for age category medals. The top three male and female finishers in each age group below will receive awards. No duplication of awards.

After one hour, race times are not recorded. All entrants are eligible for prize drawings.

5K Mile Men and Women: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over

2 Mile Men and Women: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over

If you win and break the 5 Mile course record, you will receive $250 in cash!

If you ran cross country and attended any of the three high schools in Columbus,
Columbus High, Lakeview or Scotus Central Catholic,
check the appropriate box on the registration form. The Alum (male & female) with
the fastest time in the 5 mile run will each receive $50 in Columbus Bucks.
