IDEA Student Shirts
Each campus will have the option to design and order shirts for their runners on their own.

Awards and Prizes
5K - Overall Top 3 Male and Female finishers
Top IDEA Campus with the most race day participation.
Campus Spirit Prize will go to the school that has the best event shirt (this will be voted on by a panel of HQ judges).
Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards given.

IDEA serves more than 40,000 college-bound students in 79 schools across Texas and Southern Louisiana and is on-track to maintain its legacy of sending 100% of its graduates to college. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that thrives on the engagement of our alumni and community members as well as the financial support of individual donors, foundations, and friends of IDEA.

Five years ago, IDEA created the Healthy Kids Here initiative with the goal of becoming the healthiest school district in America. We are working toward this by: providing a healthy and active lifestyle for our students, increasing student access to healthy and nutritious foods, and educating our IDEA Team and Family on health, wellness, and nutrition.

We recognize that the roots of academic success for our students run far deeper than classroom learning alone. As part of our mission, IDEA hosts a 5K Run/Walk and Healthy Living Expo in each of our regions in an effort to engage our students and families in an fun, educational opportunity to be active. Our hope is that families and schools will train for the 5Ks together and develop a habit of being active together.
