Each runner will get a commemorative beer glass from Exile Brewing Co, and a beer to fill it. If you're a runner who's not of age or don't care for a beer, no worries, we'll have options for you!
We'll hang out post-race, listen to music, play some games, eat great food, and have an awesome time...all leading up to awards and the THUNDERDOME that is the Stein Holding Contest!
Tell friends and family who aren't running to come and join us for mega fun times! Festivites, food, and beer - it's a can't miss!

Stein Holding Contest |
First Run Then Stein Hold!
Are you signed up to race? Then you're signed up to participate, if you're tough enough, in the Run to Exile Stein Holding Contest! Hold a 1 liter stein full of beer perpendicular to your shoulder, for AS LONG AS YOU CAN! We'll be giving away a $100 Exile Brewing Gift Card plus a custom aluminum growler to the top male and female!
We will run the contest with as many heats as necessary to determine the winners! Start working those shoulders! It'll be a test of strength, endurance, and of course, figuring out who you'll share your beer with!

Registration takes less than 5 minutes! And the earlier you register the more money you save. Sign up and invite a friend or five!
You'll also have the option to add a DSM Beer Mile Registration when you sign up! The Des Moines Beer Mile is on June 14, the day before Run to Exile. Signing up for both events at the same time saves you $10!

You will receive your race bag, which is the ONLY BAG that can be used at the bag drop, T-shirt, and bib number, and timing chip along with your Exile beer glass. Once we give you the glass, it’s all yours. This means no butter finger insurance! We strongly encourage you to pick up your packet on Thursday or Friday!
