Join the Nebraska community of donor families, transplant recipients, living donors and donation supporters for the 2019 Donate Life 5K & Heroes Walk presented by Live On Nebraska.

The Donate Life 5K & Heroes Walk is a casual, family-friendly run/walk event that celebrates the gift of organ, tissue and eye donation. The event features a timed 5K run and Heroes Walk. Children ages 3-10 who are registered for the event may also participate in an untimed kids Fun Run.

Participants may register as part of a team. Each team should assign a captain who is responsible for creating a team within the registration system. Awards will be given to the fastest team (team whose first four 5K finishers combine for the fastest overall time) and team with the most creative name/theme.

All registered participants receive a free t-shirt while they last.

PACKET PICK-UP
- Packet Pick-up for registrations received prior to 8 p.m. on April 23rd will be held Wednesday, April 24th at Live On Nebraska, 3867 Leavenworth St., Omaha. Packet Pick-up will also be available on April 27th at 8 a.m. at Werner Park.
- Packet Pick-up for registrations received after 8 p.m. on April 23rd will begin Saturday, April 27th at 8 a.m. at Werner Park.

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE
The 5K & Heroes Walk will be held rain or shine on Saturday, April 27th, at Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way, Papillion. There is ample parking available next to the Park.

8:00 a.m.: Registration & Packet Pick-Up Opens
8:45 a.m.: Welcome & Announcements
8:55 a.m.: Line Up for 5K Run
9:00 a.m.: 5K Run Start
9:05 a.m.: Heroes Walk Start
9:45 a.m.: Kids Fun Run
10:00 a.m.: Awards Ceremony featuring Jason Schechterle

PRICE
Adults (Age 11+): $30
Children (Ages 10 and below): $15

The prices above do not include processing fees. The discount for Children will be automatically applied based on the age of the participant.
