Focus on Hope 5k & 1m Fun Run/Walk is the Community Cancer Center’s annual cancer awareness and cancer risk management education and fundraising event.

Unlike other cancer related campaigns, 100% of the proceeds raised for Focus on Hope remain in Douglas County to benefit our community. Your support dollars help community members with cancer treatment access, cancer risks awareness, and community education through our outreach programs.

We enable our community to Focus on Hope by developing outreach programs that meet the objectives and strategies that provide our community with cancer risk awareness messages and understand how to minimize their cancer risks by developing healthy lifestyle habits.

What we do with your support dollars:
In the past decade the Community Cancer Center has treated thousands of patients and waived over 2 million dollars in treatment services. Our Focus on Hope goes beyond treatment in many ways:

• Last year the Community Cancer Center provided over 370 face-to-face hours delivering our awareness messages to Douglas county residents.[*]Engaged more than 24,000 community members through our programs and awareness campaigns[*]Currently promote more than 20 community outreach programs, events or resources that aid cancer patients during treatment, cancer survivors and community members.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is on Saturday, May 19th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Community Cancer Center. Packets will be available during race day registration.

Cancellations
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Sorry, no exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate.

Race Rules
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.

Race numbers are required to participate in the 5k and 1 mile event.

Event Agenda
March 1 - April 30, 2018: Early registration begins. Registration fee is $25. Save by registering early or as a group.

May 1 - May 18, 2018: Late registration. Prices increase to $30

May 18th: Online registration closes at 3:00 pm!
