Kick off your 4th of July holiday at Carmel High School in the Freedom Run/Walk! Participants can choose between a 4.5 mile run or a 1.5 mile walk, which take you into the heart of downtown Carmel.

Bring the whole family out, as children 10 and under can participate in the FREE Kids Fun Run!

And stick around after you finish for the post-race refreshments and awards ceremony! Be sure to mingle with our vendors at their booths, as well!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION will be from 6:30AM to 8AM.

Individuals - $23/person
Families - $23/person for first 2 people, $15/person for additional family members
The Kids Fun Run (10 and under) - Free

Online pre-registration closes July 3 at 8:00am.

The 4.5 mile course will have you winding through neighborhoods of Carmel and the Monon Trail. There will be 2 water stations along the course. The course is fairly flat with a few slight hills.

The Freedom Run is held at Carmel High School (520 E. Main Street), just west of Keystone Avenue.

The event will start and finish near the west side of Carmel High School.

Parking is available in both the school lot and the surrounding neighborhoods.

All registrants will receive the following items.
- A patriotic T-shirt
- Bib number and option to be timed
- Goodie bag
- Post-race refreshments

- Top 3 Male/Female finishers in the 4.5 mile race

---Age-Group Awards---
- Top 3 in each age-group
- Age-groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and above

Bring the youngsters, as there will be a Kids Fun Run, for children 10 and under, after the race! This run is FREE and requires no registration!

The race is roughly 100 yards long and will be held near the finish line of the 4.5 mi./1.5 mi events.
Announcements will be made on race morning for all kids wanting to participate.

All kids finishers will receive a Popsicle and other goodies!
