The Course |
This challenging course is the perfect training run for those running the Lincoln National Guard Marathon or Half Marathon. Both races begin on Normal Boulevard near Van Dorn Street and wind through Holmes Lake Park.
The 10K route challenges you by winding through the park, taking you along Normal Boulevard where you turn south at Myrtle Street and wind your way to 56th Street. At Prescott Avenue you turn around and make your way back to Holmes Park where you will cross the finish.
The 2-Mile run/walk is the only one of its length on the LTC schedule and it features a course which is a loop-and-a-half along Normal, through Holmes Park, and along 70th Street. This race also finishes in Holmes Park. The 2-mile run/walk is the second race in the Kids Grand Prix Series.

Post-Race and Awards |
All participants who register online will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.
Gift certificates from the Lincoln Running Company will be awarded in both races.
10K - The top three men and women finishers will receive gift certificates as follows:
- 1st Place - $75
- 2nd Place - $50
- 3rd Place - $35
The top masters finisher in both the men's and women's field will receive:
- 1st Place - $50
Age divisions in both men and women will also receive awards. The divisions are: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and up; and wheelchair. The top two men and women in each division will receive gift certificates as follows:
- 1st Place - $20
- 2nd Place - $15
2-Mile - The top three men and women finishers will receive gift certificates as follows:
- 1st Place - $50
- 2nd Place - $35
- 3rd Place - $20
There will be no age group awards in the 2-Mile race.
There will be no duplication of awards.

Kids Grand Prix |
The Tabitha 2 Mile is the second event of the Kids Grand Prix. Grand Prix runners should enter online and pay the normal entry fee; Kids 12 and under at $6; Kids 13 and older are $10.
