NOTE: There is no race day registration for the KIDS RUN ONLY. You can still register for the 10k walk/run.

Shirt size is not guaranteed if you're picking it up on race day. Try hard to pick up your packet early!

Directions to Start

The McDonald's Half-K Kid's Run is a celebration of good health for children ages 5 to 10 years old. It is a non-competitive fun run on Second Street starting at 8:30am at the official race start. Parents may walk and push strollers with the children.

Course Description & Maps:
The loop course on Second Street is a half-K for the 5-10 year old. The flat and fast course will start and finish at the official start and finish lines of the 10k-so that all the children can be and finish with a flourish at the banners-just like Mom and Dad! The children will turn at the cones on Second Street so that the event is safe and allows for maximum cheering from fans everywhere.

All children receive a finisher's medal.

The event is $10 and children receive a free t-shirt while supplies last.

Packet pick up is during the same times as listed for adult packet pick up.

All children will receive a t-shirt with the W&S Thanksgiving Day Race commemorative logo. The t-shirt is preshrunk cotton/poly blend for the perfect fit. Thanks to our partner McDonald’s, the shirt is FREE with your child’s registration.

There are over 5000 free parking spots available in the surface parking lots by Paul Brown Stadium. They are gobbled up really fast (just like you run)!

It pays to get there early and fast.

If you miss them, the race recommends that you park in any of the lots downtown or along the streetcar route and take the STREETCAR to the start.

Disposable bib-tags!

The tag is a small device which will be attached to the back of your race number to record your net time. It doesn't matter if you start at the back of the pack, walk the race, or get squished at the start. The tag will start your official time when you cross the computer pads at the starting line, and stop when you cross the finish line. Your results will be online.

Post Race party is at Paul Brown Stadium. Music and food will be on the plaza level at Paul Brown Stadium. Enjoy lots of snacks and refreshments from Kroger, and much more. Live band - Nativity Code - will be entertaining us.

The Ronald McDonald House volunteers will be serving Alpine Valley Water at mile marker 4. Port-a-lets will also be available at mile 4.
