The Outback Scramble is a wacky, rugged cross-country course at Eagle's Crest, located just north of Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis. Showing up in a white outfit and expecting to leave in a white outfit? Think again! Participants should expect to be muddy (and possibly bloody) by the time they cross the finish line!

While on course, be sure to grab any inflatable animals you see for a time reduction once you finish!

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS FOR: getting your shoes muddy, tearing your pants, spraining your ankle, getting prickers all over you, getting chased by bees, falling into a creek, stepping in animal poop, getting lost, running into a tree, etc. Come run, get dirty and have fun! Just be careful!

NOTE: This event is a RUN - not a walk - there is a time limit of 14 min/mile - if you cannot keep up with this pace, you will be directed back to the finish line at some point on the course.

Participants are also encouraged to bring non-perishable canned food donations with them. Those that bring canned goods with them on raceday are able to register at a discount!

Gleaners is unable to accept the following: home canned goods, items without ingredients listed on the packaging, tobacco or alcohol, or baby food that is not in the original, unopened packaging.

Participants may pick up their bibs and shirts on raceday from 8:00am - 9:20am. There will be NO pre-race Packet Pick-up on Friday.

Event starts and finishes at the Eagle's Crest located on the very northwest side of Eagle Creek Reservoir. FREE parking (to the first 3,000 cars only) is available to everyone that has a car.
