Titan MOB (Mud, Obstacle, Beer) is an EXTREME obstacle course designed to test your strength, stamina, willpower, camaraderie and desire to succeed. We offer a 10K and 5K course route - you choose your challenge! Both distances, the extreme 10K and the 5K Fast Pass route, will test your strength and determination as you work to conquer 20+ obstacles. Both course routes will start and finish in the same area, therefore allowing you to choose your distance after you begun the race. We will have one competitive "Clash of the Titans" heat, as well as numerous "Titan Fun" heats. Regardless of which heat you sign up for, you will face many physical obstacles designed to test your abilities. We will have you doing everything BUT running in a straight line! Some obstacles may be virtually impossible to accomplish alone and others may force you to step outside your comfort zone. Some people will overcome fears, some will face decisions they have never faced before, some will be tired and weak, some will feel more alive than they ever have; but we ensure that ALL of you will have the time of your life doing it!!!! You will overcome the unknown only to be rewarded at the finish with a cold beer, music, entertainment, but most of all, a huge sense of pride and accomplishment.

The competitive Clash of the Titans heat begins at 9:00 AM. There is only one competitive heat. CASH PRIZES will be awarded to the top 3 male finishers and top 3 female finishers in this 9:00 AM Clash of the Titans heat. Participants who sign up for this heat must run the extreme 10K course route. You are competing for cash prizes after all!

If you are looking for some dirty fun and not out to win cash prizes, then sign up for any one of our Titan Fun heats. The Titan Fun heats will begin at 9:20 AM and will run every 20 minutes. With these heats, you can run either the extreme 10K or the 5K Fast Pass route. Both routes are designed to be challenging yet fun. Midway through the course, the 10K will break away to cover additional distance and obstacles, before merging again with 5K runners. Note we will start with filling the morning heats and once they are full, we will then open up additional heats.

Titan MOB wants to support and help the community. Therefore, we have teamed up with Children's Cancer Connection, a local 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in Des Moines, Iowa. Children's Cancer Connection exists to enhance the lives of families affected by childhood cancer by providing quality programs for recreation, education and support. They serve families who are treated, living or diagnosed in the state of Iowa regardless of treatment outcome, and strive to be there for the Entire Family through the Entire Journey. We encourage you to join in our efforts to donate and fundraise for this charity when registering.
