About The Carmel Marathon Weekend |
Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2015, for the 5th Annual Carmel Marathon Weekend offering a marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, Horizon Bank 8K and the Stay Healthy Hamilton County 5K presented by the Hamilton County Sports Authority. All races will utilize the same start and finish line to allow crowds to line the streets and watch as the participants enjoy the specially chosen courses. All runners and walkers will receive a free pass to the Monon Community Center to enjoy the use of pools to relax after the race.

Minimum 2; maximum 4 participants
* Top 3 awards for male, female, and coed
* Limited to the first 100 teams
Runner distances:
* Runner #1 - 7 miles (exchange at River Road Park)
* Runner #2 - 7.9 miles (exchange at 146th and Jason Street)
* Runner #3 - 7.1 miles (exchange at Monon Community Center)
* Runner #4 - 4.2 miles

Award Presentation and Closing Ceremonies |
The top three awards for the Carmel Marathon, Half Marathon, and Horizon Bank 8k will be presented at the Announcers Stage next to the VIP area at 10:00 AM. Enjoy music with all your new running friends and honor the top finishers of 2015!
Age group awards to the top-3 in the following age groups: 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Parking is available all around the start/finish area including the Tarkington Theater parking garage to the south, Woods Wire gravel lot to the north and the paved lot 1/2 mile to the west at Guilford and City Center Drive

Participants will enjoy the Monon Community Center at Central Park offering a 161-acre park featuring natural wetlands, lagoon, boardwalk and four miles of trails.
