Event Details

The 2026 Sparkle Run is a 5k in honor of Erin Moomey who passed away at age 11 from complications from Leukemia.  The Sparkle Run raises funds for organizations that support children and families with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.  

The 2026 Sparkle Run will take place on Sunday, May 3rd at the Ankeny DMACC Campus in the Main Parking Lot at 2:00pm.

Packet/shirt pick-up will only be at the event.
There is an option for No Shirt as well.  

Our proceeds this year will benefit:

Therapy Dog Program at Blank Children's Hospital

ACS-PAWS Program at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children
