PLEASE NOTE:
Packet pickup for pre-registered runners who register online or via mail, should pickup packets at the store they specified during registration. This will include a t-shirt, Germanfest entry pass and drink voucher, bib number and timing tag.

We will not send mailed registration forms this year! You may print off the form from the website or register online.

Automated timing will be used at this event.

Disposable timing tags will be included with your race number in your packet. You must wear a timing tag to be timed and eligible for awards. Age group awards will be determined by chip time.

Overall awards will be presented to the Overall winners and Overall Master's winners (age 40+).

Team Award will be presented to 1st place teams in 5K.

Top 3 male and female age groups:

• 5K: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
  

The 5k course is run over paved roads in the rolling hills north of Muenster. It is fast, scenic and challenging. (For PDF map of route, click here.)

First 600 participants will receive a FREE T-Shirt - ($12 value) - (Please pre-register to get your correct size shirt), ALL participants receive a FREE PASS ($10 value) into the Germanfest Grounds (Sunday Only), and a VOUCHER FOR TWO FREE DRINKS - ($8 value), Beer, Powerade or soft drinks - VOUCHERS redeemable only at Germanfest Grounds Friday - Sunday.

The Germanfest Fun Run staff will not be responsible for mailing T-shirts to runners who fail to run or pick up their shirts on race day.

Complimentary Snacks, Water, Powerade and Beer at Finish Line Area - BE SURE TO BRING ID

After the awards at the Finish Line, registered runners can use their SUNDAY ONLY armband to access the Germanfest grounds, where they can participate in all Germanfest activities. Each runner will receive a VOUCHER for 2 FREE beer(s) or soft drink(s). VOUCHER can be used for Soft Drinks at the Boy Scout booth or for BEER anywhere in Heritage Park / Germanfest grounds.

One rest stop will be at the half way point and one at the finish line. Water, fruit and other liquids will be available. Medical aid will be provided along the route and at the finish. If at any point, our medical personnel determines that you should not continue, you will be detained and/or returned to the start by a sag wagon. Fill out your race number bib so you can be identified in case of emergency.

The Muenster Memorial Hospital and local doctors and nurses will be available to assist with any complications. Emergency ambulance service and qualified paramedics will also be available.

Any profits from the races are channeled through the Muenster Knights of Columbus to various charitable organizations in Cooke County.
