The first (900) 5K registrants will receive a short-sleeve Brooks tech fabric shirt at no extra cost.
All other registrants will receive a cotton shirt.Online registration is closed for this category.

All Briefcase Relay participants may also run/walk in the 5K at 7:00 PM for an additional $10 charge.

Come Join the Fun:
Come kick off the start of summer with this long time popular Seattle 5k Event. Run or walk the flat 5k route or put together a five-person team for the costumed Briefcase Relay. Then celebrate your race at the post-race festivities that include music, vendors, prizes and the Beer Garden serving beer and wine.

- Parking is limited in Fremont.
- Please car pool or use Metro and respect the property in the neighborhood.
- Race starts and finishes at the Adobe Plaza - 801 N. 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98103
Race Schedule:
4:30 PM: Race day check-in/registration ($40), number and t-shirt pickup
5:45 PM: Briefcase relay team inspection
6:00 PM: Briefcase relay starts
6:00 PM: Beer Garden opens
7:00 PM: 5k Run/Walk starts
8:00 PM: Awards - Overall awards will be presented at the awards ceremony. Division awards will be mailed.
Post Race:
Join us for food, drink, prizes and music.
Beer Garden:
The beer garden serving beer and wine opens at 6:00 PM.

Costumed Briefcase Relay |
Form a team at work. Challenge the competition. Join the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and race for the SLUG CUP.
The Briefcase Relay starts at 6:00 PM at the Adobe Plaza -- 801 N. 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98103.
Teams consist of 5 persons (each runs 1k) dressed from the waist up in regular business attire or a costume and carrying a briefcase which contains five standard sized cans of food that will then be donated to the FamilyWorks Resource Center & Food Bank non-profit at the end of the race. (Backpacks are not considered a briefcase).
Teams must check-in for inspection at Solstice Plaza across from the Waiting for the Interurban statue.
All Briefcase Relay participants may also run/walk in the 5K at 7:00pm for an additional $10 charge. These registrants will receive a Brooks tech fabric shirt instead of a cotton tee if registered prior to the 900 tech shirt limit.
