What is a virtual event?
It’s your own event in your own way anywhere in the world! Run or walk on roads, trails, tracks, treadmills, or even around your backyard.

Do I need to complete my run by a specific date?
Yes, carrying the spirit of the event, complete your run/walk during the four day span of Hog Days September 4th - 7th.

Am I required to run the official route to get credit?
This year will not have an official route. We encourage you to create your own course wherever you are located. Be creative! Just be sure to obey all traffic laws and be aware of others, vehicles, and your surroundings at all times. Safety first! We understand some may desire to run the “historical” route for tradition’s sake, but there is no course support, traffic control, or any form of escort, so please be cautious no matter where you run.

Is there a requirement on how I complete my run?
You can complete your distance by running or walking on roads, trails, tracks, or treadmills.

How do I submit my race results and race photos?
We will send you information on this as race-week approaches.

Will there be a competitive race? Will there be awards for top overall or age group finishers?
Not this year. Due to the nature of a virtual event we will not be giving out awards this year for top finishers. But keep an eye on your email you may win one of our special door prizes...

When will I receive my swag?
Your t-shirt and medal will be mailed to you if you live outside of Kewanee. Kewanee participants will have a special pick up location that will be announced soon.

Will there be a finisher’s medal this year?
There will be a finisher’s medal available this year along with a custom design tech shirt.

When can I register?
Anytime now through August 27th. Registration is on-line only and you can register at www.getmeregistered.com/hogdaystampede No paper sign ups will be accepted.

Is there a 1 mile and Kids Fun Run?
Sorry, Not this year but 1 mile participants can do the Stampede in phases and submit that time.
