The Barrett House Shelter serves over 300 women and children each year with the goal of helping them obtain stable housing.

In addition to providing shelter for homeless women and children Barrett House provides a respite program for homeless women being discharged from the hospital needing additional recovery time. While in the respite program women are provided case management and support services leading to stable housing. Barrett Foundation administers four supportive housing programs that served over 70 families and approximately 200 people last year. Dedicated case managers provide support, resources, guidance and encouragement as individuals and families work toward long term stable housing and independence.
