The 29th Annual Shamrock Run & Walk is the official race of the St. Patrick's Day Parade and it is hosted by The Athletic Club Foundation. This years race will take place at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Register and get this year's Indianapolis inspired t-shirt.

The St. Patrick's Day Celebration events are the Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year. The Athletic Club Foundation is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that supports youth by investing in amateur athletic programs in Indiana. The Foundation has partnered with the Indianapolis Firefighters Emerald Society and Indianapolis Professional Firefighters 416 (IFD) on Mass Avenue in downtown Indianapolis. Proceeds benefit local charities.

All pre-registered participants will receive this year's Indianapolis inspired shirt.
Race day shirts are not guaranteed for those who do not pre-register.

The Run/Walk starts and finishes at 748 Mass. Avenue at the IFD Union Hall and Museum. Official start time for the run/walk this year is 12:00pm.

A celebration will take place in a large heated tent and inside the Union Hall. There will be live Irish entertainment, DJ, food, beer garden, merchandise. Event runs through 5pm on Saturday.

There will be free parking the morning of the race at 1125 E. Brookside Avenue.

Race Day: you will not be allowed to park on the race course.

The top three male and female finishers from the Shamrock Run will be awarded prizes.

Q. Are Strollers Allowed in the Shamrock Run & Walk?
A. Yes, strollers are allowed in both. We do require the parent to sign a waiver for the child.

Q. If I am unable to pickup my race packet, can a friend or family member do so?
A. Yes. You will need last name or bib number to look up participant(s).

Q. Are animals allowed?
A. Yes

Q. When does online registration close?
A. Online registration will close on Friday, March 13th at 8:00 AM

Q. Can I still register at packet pick up or on race day?
A. Yes, registration will increase to $35.00 if you sign up at packet pick-up or on race day

Q. Do we need to register our children?
A. You must sign a release waiver for your child at packet pick-up.

The Athletic Club Foundation and the Indianapolis Firefighters welcome all to attend the St. Patrick's Celebration on Mass Ave. There will be a large heated tent with live entertainment and beer garden. Food will be available to purchase and the IFD Museum will be open to view. The event will run to 5pm. The website will post entertainment and times.
