All funds raised by this event will stay at the CYFS Rock Island office in order to meet the needs of at risk youth and families in Rock Island, Henry & Mercer Counties. These funds are used for families involved in our Foster Care, Intact Family Services, Youth, Family and Community Outreach Services and Counseling programs. These funds make it possible for our agency to provide a wide variety of things to families such as clothing, smoke detectors, beds, air conditioners, emergency medication, school supplies, as well as pay for activity or event fees for youth. These funds are also used to prevent homelessness. Hotel stays have been covered numerous times for families in order to ensure they had a safe place to sleep. The impact these funds have had on families working with CYFS have been profound.
