The race is a 5K Gun to Finish Chip and participants will be bussed to the start line from James G. Thompson Park. (See Map Below). Busses will leave every 10 minutes or so. The last bus needs to leave no later than 10 minutes till race time. Please make sure you are ready to go.

The Fun Run will be an Obstacle Course and will take place the entire time of the race. Will the 5K is competing for best times, the children or adults can play on the obstacle course.

First 100 people who register will receive a sponsors' goody bag including team members.

The Fun Run will be set up for kids, target age probably between 8-14 or so. It's a little less than a mile, and it goes along a paved track. Every tenth of a mile or so I have an obstacle set up along the side of the trail the runner can traverse, if he/she chooses. Otherwise, the person could just run the track like a normal run. Here is a list of a few of the obstacles:

balance run
over and under hurdles
potato sack hop
volleyball toss
basketball shot
water slide to the finish

Medals will be awarded in the following categories to all 5K award winners.

Overall M & F, 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

T-Shirts are guaranteed to anyone registering by Saturday, September 21, 2019 by midnight. T-Shirts will be on a first-come, first-serve basis on race day and may not be available in all sizes or at all. Register Early!!!

Due to the numbers involved in the event, Packet Pickup will be race day morning only.

The starting line is very close to the driveway of Lake Texoma Jet Center LLC, 3604 Airport Drive, Denison, TX 75020
