About the Event |
This Inaugural event will offer kids races and a great 5K! There will be two kids races, (100 yard dash (ages 1-4), or 1/4 mile dash (5 and up)), where each kid will receive an finisher ribbon and be welcomed to our kids fun-zone post race party! The 5K course will be taking you through uptown Moline with a start and finish at Seton Catholic School. There will be age group awards running three deep in each age group category. Each registered participant will have a tear off tag on their Bib number for a free drink (pop or Beer (if 21+)) and a slice of pizza offered during the Inaugural Quad Cities Pizza Festival taking place at Seton Catholic School.

We are doing our best to keep this race affordable and fun for all, so with that said, you have the OPTION to purchase your shirt while registering for the race online. This will help keep your entry fee as low as possible for those who just want to run/walk, help eliminate unneeded extra shirts, and help those who order a shirt online avoid hearing that not so favorite quote "We're out of your size..." during Packet Pick Up. We will have VERY LIMITED extra shirts during Packet Pick Up set aside for those who register on Friday, October 4th and on race morning, Saturday, October 5th. So if you would like one of our SUPER-COOL Race Shirts, please check the box while registering for the race.
