The Mars Hill Youth Center, Lynhurst 7th & 8th Grade Center, Stout Field Elementary School, and Sanders School, are proud to announce the 2019 Westside Community Hero 5K Run/Walk, which will take place on Saturday, September 28! This fun event will bring our community together to support our children through the schools and the Mars Hill Youth Center, which will give them a safe and nurturing place to go play, learn, and grow, when they are not in school.

We need you! We would love for you to join us in running, walking, or biking through the neighborhood! We want to join you at this event not only because of its valuable purpose for our children, but also to meet your neighbors and just have some fun! Your sponsorship and participation will elevate the event’s importance and contribute to the success of our children. It will also provide you with a great opportunity to connect with people who are interested in your products and services, but also with other business and community partners. Most importantly, your visible presence will demonstrate your commitment to, and investment in, the future of this great community.

While the 5k is focused on the Mars Hill area, we’ve also invited the entire Wayne Township community. We will bring our greater community together and let them see that we are an important and proud part of the Giant family!

Westside Community Hero 5K Run/Walk will be an annual event that becomes a tradition, and it will continue to support many learning and growth opportunities for our kids, both at school, and through the Mars Hill Youth Center! We look forward to partnering with you!
