Our Mission |
The NextGen5K and Fun Run is a charity fundraiser supporting Daughters of Our Living Lord & Savior (DOLLS) and several other area youth ministries including REFUGE--the student ministry of Grace Church, and Creek Student Ministries--the student ministry of Cottonwood Creek Church. The goal of our race is to bring awareness to the worthy cause of discipling the next generation and to generate the funding necessary to allow these ministries to continue their critical work of developing our youth. This is our fourth annual race!
The NextGen5K tradition was originally launched in 2015 as a collaborative effort between three youth-focused ministries. That race was attended by over 300 runners. This is our first year to invite our church partners to join us as beneficiaries of this race. We saw this as an opportunity for DOLLS to give back to the local churches who do so much to support our parachurch efforts!

Schedule of Events
12:00 PM DOLLS arrival for set up
12:30 PM Worship team is free to load out as early as 12:30PM and must complete sound checks, if desired, by 3:00PM.
Due to the 5K taking place before the Night of Worship, there will not be time for a sound check or rehearsal any time between the hours of 3:30PM and 7:30PM. If no sound check is desired, load
out of all equipment must be complete by 6:30PM so as not to interfere with after-race awards ceremony.
1:30 PM Volunteer Arrival, Sponsor Arrival & Set-Up, Course Set-Up
All booths (including Sponsors, Churches, and Worship team) must be set up and fully functioning by 4pm
3:00 PM DJ Arrival & Set-Up
2:30 PM Guest Arrival & Day-of Registrations Open
DJ goes live as early as 4pm (assuming the worship team is not still doing sound checks.) As soon as band is done sound checking, DJ will crank into action. Booths must be open for business
promptly at 4pm.
