Oahe Downstream Recreation Area Campground 3 Picnic Shelter

Start & finish at Oahe Downstream Recreation Area Campground 3 Picnic Shelter
5 miles north of Ft. Pierre, South Dakota - just off Hwy 1806

Registration Fees

The Tour de Oahe is limited to 200 riders.

Registration fee:
$35 - if registered by May 31
$45 - if registered between June 1 and June 13 (shirt not guaranteed at time of event)

Your registration fee includes the ride, pre-ride breakfast, post-ride lunch and snacks. Registered riders also receive a 2019 Tour de Oahe commemorative T-shirt if registration received by June 1.

Ride Details

LONG ROUTE (67 miles)
You will finish this ride feeling accomplished after completing category 4 and category 5 hill climbs, all the while taking in the spectacular views of the Oahe Dam! The first leg of the ride takes you through the Oahe Downstream Recreation Area and across the face of the dam. From there you will travel up Hwy 1806 past Chantier Creek Resort and continue riding to the end of the paved road. Once you step across onto the gravel road you can turn around and enjoy the ride back down to the Oahe Downstream Recreation Area.

MEDIUM ROUTE (40 miles)
This route starts out similar to the Long Route, except it takes a detour through the main campground loop and turns around at Chantier Creek. It includes a category 4 hill climb and great scenery!

DAM FUN RIDE (15 miles)
This fun ride will take you on a tour of the Oahe Downstream Recreation Area, up and across the face of the dam, and back down the hill to the Campground 3 picnic shelter to enjoy some social time with fellow TdO participants.
